a perfect ending to the day

Sunday's are always busy days for pastors. For me, I'm up at 6:30. At Rev. Hall by 8:00, so that we can begin setting up for church. Today was accoustic worship. It was great. Womer and the team really are great at what they do. After the service, we did some training with all the leaders of the tribes (our word for small groups). The training was also great. However, this meant that we were getting home from church around 3:30 pm. The kids were wiped out, and slept till 6:30pm. On sunday's I barely see my kids because I'm running around dealing with whatever needs to be dealt with. So when they finally woke up I was looking forward to playing with them. I sat in my big overstuffed chair with the laptop on the ottoman. Lily woke up and climbed up into my lap on one side. Aimee dropped Eve onto the other side. We played for a bit. And then, Lily put her hand over her mouth and threw up. By puttting her hand over her mouth she created a spray effect. Aimee rescued her from my lap and rushed her into the bathroom. I cleaned the puke off of eve and myself, while aimee cleaned the puke off of lily--and then the floor, chair, ottoman, table. Then I began the emergency laundry--blankets, clothes. By about 9:30 we were done. So now we sit on the couch and watch whatever network television decides we'd like to watch. Aimee says that her hair smells like puke. I'm pretty sure I got the puke out from between the computer keys, but it's hard to say.
